CALLING SUBMISSIONS FOR VOLUME III - ISSUE 2 (DECEMBER 2023)
Dear Researchers and Scholars,
We are pleased to invite submissions for the upcoming Volume III - Issue 2 (December 2023) of Smṛti, a bi-annual open access peer-reviewed e-journal on Fine & Performing Arts published by the Department of Indian Music, School of Fine & Performing Arts, University of Madras, Chennai.
Smṛti aims to provide a platform for scholars, researchers, and practitioners to share their original research, critical insights, and innovative ideas on various aspects of Fine & Performing Arts. We welcome submissions that explore interdisciplinary approaches and intersections between the arts and other fields of study for our December 2023 Issue.
Manuscripts can be submitted in the form of research papers, case studies, etc. The manuscripts must be original, unpublished, and not under review elsewhere. All submissions will be subjected to a rigorous peer-review process to ensure high academic standards.
The topics of interest for this issue include but are not limited to:

• Dance Studies
• Theatre Studies
• Art History
• Film Studies
• Popular Culture and Media
• Interdisciplinary Studies
Submissions should adhere to the journal's guidelines, which can be found on our website. *The deadline for submissions is November 24, 2023. Authors will be notified of the editorial decision by December 22, 2023.*

3. Line Spacing: 1.5
4. Relevant citations in the footnotes
5. Bibliography in MLA 9 format
